Good evening, everyone. My OE CB is on its way out, so I did a search for the correct part number. Google gave me this site. The price seems OK. Same part number. I understand that there seem to be two different carrier bearings available, depending on if it is for a 2wd or 4wd application. Some models don't have shaft seals. This one looks to be identical to my OE unit. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks!!

I searched far and wide for a carrier bearing with a seal. When dropping off the shaft to the driveline shop he was disappointed I got the one with the seal. He said he always installs the one without the seal since it does not add heat to the bearing.

It's mostly dry here so I am not concerned about a seal in front of an already sealed bearing, but he installed what I brought. Next time I will get the other one.

I check everything on rockauto. The OEM part # is usually in the description which helps a lot in case the filter isn't totally accurate.

Exactly, spicer was OEM, why pay dealer prices when you can ger dealer parts for cheaper?

If you want to dig into Tier 1 parts vs Tier 2 parts i agree. What is availiable aftermarket is likely the same now.

I'd buy it from rockauto... but yeah

Edit: you live in Arizona, where they don’t ship. Bummer

Okay, so I just bought an OEM unit from Summit. Exact same part number as mine.

    Spicer 5002007/Toyota 37235 35030.

It was around $116 out the door with free shipping. It seemed like the best deal. Hopefully she'll be good for another 200k. I'll keep this thread updated.
