Good evening everyone. I have a 2019 TRD off road and I'm searching for a transmission. It's still under extended warranty, but the dealership is making me jump through hoops. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure what the question is

    Maybe try a different dealer?
Are they making you source your own part?

Is it a Toyota extended warranty? No hoops, or very few, should be involved

It sounds more like a 3rd party version. Which are frought with loopholes that look like hoops.

It's a toyota dealership. It's where I bought the truck 6 years ago.

They're not making get my own parts. But they're saying things that make me believe that they don't want to honor the warranty.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way.
But we are going to need more information before we can give you any advice.
And even then, we'd likely need to know the details of the warranty you have, and any maintenance or service records you have on the transmission.

Maybe start with the things they are saying that make you feel like they will not honor the warranty?

I’m not following; you’re looking for a transmission, but they’re not making you get your own parts?

Is there a reason you're being so vague? Details man, we need details. Do you want help or to wallow in your problems?

Try a different dealer? Why on earth would you just go straight to buying and installing a new transmission on your own dime if it can be done for free..

And you've not even shared my it needs replacing. Not shifting could be from external electrical issues.
