    It's for the sake of heritage and nostalgia. No different than the Ford crossover EV carrying "Mustang." Or Porsche 911 "T" not being a completely stripped sub-base model. 4 door Chargers. Supra is a BMW. Audi "even" now means EV and "odd" means ICE, so A5 used to be sporty coupé but is now entry sedan.
