Can’t believe how expensing windshields are.

Safelite quote is about 450 plus calibration. They don’t quote that online so I’ll need to call tomorrow

Insurance will cover for the cost of the deductible but that’s about the price of the windshield too…


Gonna call a couple local places tomorrow for more quotes. Or maybe drive around with it for a while. Since it’s not a daily maybe it’ll be alright

wife is worried about it getting worse before or during.

 

If it gets worse you just kick out the windshield Jurassic park style

 

Eric, good decision, I would AVOID safelight at all costs, see if a local co. can take care of it for you, check how long they have been in business, and any surveys, of course, I know you know all this, I have seen too many safelight failures in my years in the industry, and if the crack doesnt go across, or affect your vision, once it goes to the bottom, you should be good. Good luck on your venture...

 

Thanks for the advice I’d say it’s a little high to really impact vision. There are a few others in the area I’ll reach out to and see.
