Did you end up getting your 35s on?

What does everyone do as the front settles? Do you just keep turning preload in to keep the ride height? And if so at what amount do you replace coils?

Ive had the 2.25 kit on for a few years and recently noticed i have settled a ways recently up front. Lowers use to have close to 20* and now getting closer to 5*.

Yup! They clear at ride height but rub the pinch weld over bumps. I think if I had the JD UCA vice the TC UCA that'd give me the clearance I need. Not sure if I'll grab a set of those or just do a small tub. But super stoked on the kit, and the Baja Boss MT ride super nice! My buddy has a set Geolander MTs and these things are WAY quieter.

Also, does any one else with this kit have their alignment cams not lined up on each side? One side is maxed out and the other isn't. Alignment is equal though. Maybe bent spindle??

How much do you think you'll have to clearance for full bump?

The JD's Aluminum Skid Plate took some pretty good hits at Moab, and it took a beating during my Rubicon Trip a few weekends ago. I have full faith that it's going to hold up to whatever it encounters on the trail..

    20250823_124452.jpg

Driveshaft also took a beating..its now more Hexagonal Shape than Round at certain spots,, driveline vibrations felt from 32MPH and up. Dropping it off on Tuesday to get re-tubed at Reel Drivelines.
    20250823_124607.jpg

The Lower Arms are holding up pretty well..
    20250823_124959.jpg

Rear Hangers and Leafs holding up pretty good considering what they've been through..

    20250823_124741.jpg

CV Boot Maintenance, Driveshaft and a Missing In Action Skid Plate Bolt are pretty much the only casualties from the Rubicon Trip..

When were you there i went the 14th-17th. I lost a taillight (my fault), and one small ding to the body. Used the sliders a lot and rear shackles took some abuse. But these jd fab parts held up great. The flat belly kit i just installed from @WormSquirts held the truck across a few rocks too lol

IMG_4625.jpgNo problems with install. if you can do the lower pivot kit, you can install this.

I had the front end completely off the ground at rubicon turtled on a rock, dead center on the transmission. No deflection, should of taken a picture

Has anyone found a good way to add preload to the front with out pulling the coils completely out?

If you have Kings you can Jack it up and do it on the vehicle....Fox they gotta come off...basically if its a steel body shock you can do it on the truck....anything else its safer to pull them off, either way spray some pb blaster or wd-40 on the shock body before turning the collar.

ok will try again. I’m pretty sure i did it to set ride height originally but that’s been a few years and I’ve just been flogging it ever since. Noticed right before rubicon the front was riding low and didn’t have time to mess with it

How much preload do you guys add before you decide it’s time for new coils?
