Steering Column Seal/Bearing Loose

    Was scouting under my truck today and found something out of place. This is in the engine compartment firewall at the steering column penetration.
    First picture is how I found it:

    Now pushed back into the opening. Not sure how much this either keeps the shaft centered or sealed? Not sure how long it will stay put either.

    Found this thread in the 2nd Gen forum:

    Anybody have an easy solution for the 3rd Gens? Nearing 100,000 miles on a 2021.
