Bought this pos gauge and threw it in the garbage... only used it a couple times before i realized it wouldn't hold air or zero out. Anyone know of a gauge like this that will last... willing to spend extra for a quality product.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I would look at the Milton offerings.
I will say I just bought the regular style that slides out.

I had a few of them at least 30 years still work good.

Looks like you have a Jaco, what makes it garbage???
Sounds like yours was defective, wouldnt have tossed it, would have returned it....

this is what I have, Jaco is known for making decent / accurate stuff:

If you just want a gauge, take your pick, as they have large variety of configurations to chose from:
    Personally I prefer digital.

TL;DW Jaco Digital rated the highest in the Project Farm test.

I have a couple of the Jaco Digitals and am 100% satisfied with them.

Pro tip: use AAA-long life lithium primary (not rechargeable) cells. That way you can chuck the gauge in a tool box or glove box and be 100% confident it will still work in 5 or 8 or 10 years, without needing a new set of batteries.

I got a dual head Milton I've been using for over 20 years.
Slide dial is old school, but works.

Unless size is an issue, I'd get one with a dual head and hose.
Makes checking spare tires much easier.

Something like this.....Does not have to be this exact one.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Then I always needed at least 100PSI for real tires over the years .
A gauge and dual chuck lived in every vehicle.

They make one that goes to 120 or 150 psi.
But it starts at 20 psi.

I like the lower psi models.
I can use it on my lawn equipment.
    But I never do
I push on the tire with my foot. If it feels "right", it's good enough.

I have a Joe's racing analog one that has held up well. Not cheap though

I've gone to digital and cheap:
New In Package Slime Digital Sport Tire Gauge 5-150 PSI #20017 | eBay
Picked mine up at a local auto parts store. Have had good luck with them. Notice they have been discontinued and replaced with a newer model.

What looks the same from another seller is only $3. At that rate buy two+.

Another vote for Milton. I prefer the old school pencil style. Never needs batteries and works every time.
