Have you confirmed that the brakes do in fact need replacing? Is the dealership just doing pads? Have you had any issues with the brakes overheating (fade)?

There appear to be upgrades out there, but they don't appear to be cheap.

It "seems like"? What does that even mean? Be specific, please.

If you had your front pads changed at say 30k, and your rear brakes serviced at 45k, and your front brakes serviced again at 60k. Well, that might be normal if you live "on the side of a mountain" and your truck is a "heavy one with the weight of the armor, winch setup, heavy tires, and gear in the back" and you also drive "up and down a lot of hills".

    Your words, not mine.

Where are you getting service? The dealership arguably is going to recommend brakes everytime for someone like you.
What service has been been performed?
How much did it cost? What have you spent?

What is the exact reason for your brakes needing replaced again now?

In a nutshell, it is pretty much one of the following:

    a) The brakes on your truck are actually in a usage category that is "extreme, heavy duty, high load, harsh road conditions" etc.....
    b) You may be using inferior parts and / or have a condition like sticking calipers that have not been correctly diagnosed or repaired
    c) You may have a shop or dealer that is perhaps taking advantage of you

Brakes are easy DIY service and you can save a lot of $$$ if you are willing to spend an afternoon online and have some basic tools.......
