overload out I assume helps a lot. I haven’t had much say with two 450cc snow bikes in the back. Or my RTT set up and loaded down with camping gear. If I need I’ll add air bags down the road. But for now the ride is better on road and on the logging roads i travel on.

Yeah they are about level with the 1" lift in front. Honestly, you can't even tell 1" or .5" rake from no rake visually (I was worried about this too when going to the 6112's @ 2"). It also is wildly different visually depending how you park, incline/decline, etc. But if you just want a 1" in front, look at the Bilstein 5100 adjustables - I *believe* there is a .85" setting in front. Otherwise, the TRD pro suspension gets you where you want to be with a better ride.

    "Rise from your grave!"

Anyone run just rear 5160? I have added skids and Wild Top and things on my 2019 now feel heavier and feels like it is hitting hard in the back over small bumps in the road.

Progresssive bumpstops such as those from Perry Parts or Archive Garage will help with that more than shocks. New springs or an AAL would also help. No problem replacing just the rear shocks though. I did mine before I replaced the front. Made a buge difference but not as much as the bump stops did.

I just did the 5160s on the rear over the weekend heh. I think it handles marginally better. However (perhaps to your point) hitting even smaller bumps in the pavement at lower speeds (~40mph) feel like it's hitting the bumpstops still - same-ish as before the shocks. I don't know if it's compressing that far as the bumpstops look pretty much unscathed/untouched.

I ended up buying 6112 for the front, too, but only the rear is done so far. I've set up the front for a 1.4" lift. Rear on my truck is about 2" higher than front. I'll put some goop on the bumpstops and see if that transfers to the truck. If bumpstops are being hit, I'll do those next. After that AAL is a possibility -- as are full leaf packs (I think Icon RXT progressive would be fine for me). I don't mind the incremental nature of this project - I don't want to do 'too much'.

I also did 6112s up front. I was stoked with the noticable improvement when I replaced my rear shocks. Only downside when I installed the 6112s was that even the improved rear now feels like crap compared to the front :) All totally worth it though.

Are you lifted in the rear at all? If running blocks you could be topping out your shocks.

I found atleast on my DCLB I was contacting the bump stops a lot and it was very harsh when it happened. I did an archive u bolt flip with his bump stops and now you dont feel it at all when they make contact. If you dont want the u bolt flip I would go with perry parts. Atleast in theory they manage to soften the impact without having as much rebound.
