I use High Performance Diecast for all my team transport/2-car packs, love how tight they close, have not tried the mainline version though.
    https://hpdiecast.com/protector-covers-cases/

Hot Wheels Collectors website has not had the mainline protectors in stock for ages, I check weekly.

The ones you linked are intriguing, let us know if you pull the trigger.

Thank you! I see the ones you linked also have the side hinge, so I'll continue to look at the bottom hinge options.

I have used The Hot Wheels brand but the all seemed to yellowed over the years. I’m using the sterling ones now. I don’t care for the lip on the side either but it’s not that bad.

What I do like about the sterling is they are thicker than others I have used. If you’re planning on hanging them on the wall here’s the sterling I have.

The ones you want to watch out for if you’re hanging them is ones like this. The hole at the top will sit a 1/4” away from the wall.

That's a good tip... I picked one up in a second hand store a while back and it's perfect for what I want, but it has no markings on it so I dunno what it is.

I bought the cheapest ones I could find back in the day and put them in boxes and tubs. Then the day came where I had the room to hang them and they were warped or yellowed and I had to buy them all over again.

When I bought the wall display cases I threw a lot of them away and opened them up to put in those displays.

I had an 86 Monte Carlo... maroon with maroon interior. Buckets with a console.Sunroof.. I adored that car until some jack ass stole it for the rims.
If I ever come up with something cool enough to trade you for that let me know haha

It’s a super chase on top of that. Makes up for Mattel getting my hope up on the RWB Porsche that dropped today. They took my money and then they told me they sold out. Literally took the money out of my bank account and then said it wasn’t available. That pissed me off..
