Hi all. I’ve got a 2016 v6. The two metal trans lines under the radiator are leaking. Can somebody give me a part number. I’m having a devil of a time. The part for the 4 cylinder looks correct. The v6 part doesn’t look anything like it.

That’s exactly what I came up with but a lot of places says it’s for the 4 cylinder…thanks, I’ll give it a shot

I had the rusty transmission lines and after being told not covered I made the dealer call and Toyota kept transferring my service rep. Until I got it for free, transmission lines are under warranty for 7 yr 100k I think. Look at the warranty manual.

It was a thought, the local shop was half of the dealer. Before I got it under warranty

Did you ever end up finding the parts? Mine are leaking bad and I need to replace them asap. Having a hard time finding these. Same problem that you mentioned.

The part numbers should be listed on @Greg-tacoma ’s work order too.

lol…. I have no idea what this means. Us old guys need someone to draw us a picture sometimes. lol. How do I find this work order you speak of? Thanks for any help you can give me. I have to drive this truck to work all week and I’m worried my fluid will get too low and cause some unnecessary damage.

I "Tagged" @Greg-tacoma in that post so if he were still on this forum he could possibly give you an answer as to what parts were used from the repair work order he had done under warrantee - see his posts. That work order will only become available to you if he sees this thread once again and cares to answer.

I am of NO help for you. I was only calling someone who might be.

Looks like rust but only on those lines in those spots. Everywhere else it looks ok.

Had to get mine replaced a year or so ago for my 2017. Got the dealer to do it, they had a “kit” or so they said. Cost was reasonable and they did it in an emergency for me so i didn’t bother trying to do it myself.

Do you have your work order from the dealer to give out the part numbers from.

Here you go. Same part number that Drippy4x4 posted above.

Got them to do the full auto transmission flush and level verification at the same time (common problem for early 3rd gen's to be low on oil from the factory).

I will look for the dealer WARRANTY work, it was finally agreed with Toyota corporate that it was part of the drive train. They replaced both steel coolant lines under drive train warranty. They were rusted out and leaking.

Thanks for posting this. I was having a hard time finding these lines so I just took the truck to a local repair shop to have them take care of it. Hopefully they can get it knocked out quick.
