Valvoline gear oil?

    Did both diffs and my 5 speed with the Valvoline synthetic. No worries.

    Changed all drain plugs to Dimple Magnetic plugs UNI filter on air pump
    I use Mobil 1 75-90 Synthetic.

    Rear diff, transfer case, front diff.

    88000 miles.

    No issues .

    Time again to change all three.

    Winter is just around the corner!

    You can buy regular bottles, if on sale for example, and refill your Valvoline bags. And yes, those bags are very convenient. I think only Amsoil is the only other brand with gear oil in baggies.

    Regular bottles worked fine for the rear diff and Tcase. I used a 5/8" od tube and narrow funnel to gravity feed (with some bottle squeezing) from the engine bay down to the front differential. No drips or spills, so that works too!
