Thayt shift knob (and most of the others that popped up) said they would fit 2016-2021. Does anyone know if the 2023's are any different ie, would this knob likely fit a 2023, or was some change made after 2021?

Final parade of the year is this weekend, its the big one so we are upping the display a little bit. Still finishing some things up, but we have a group of 6-8 year old dancers that will be walking with us, last time they walked with us half of them dropped out as they couldnt keep up. So this year I am making a float! I have skirting that will go around the edges of the trailer, speakers for the dancers will be mounted to the back on little stands, the girls will sit on the trailer while the high school dance team dances behind us.

Once parade season is over, this trailer will be converted into a ice fishing house for the winter season, then back into a flatbed for summer and parade season.

These benches will not end up being used, the liability of the young children falling off and getting hurt is too high, so they will be required to sit on the flat deck of the trailer

Speaker mounts are just black iron pipes bolted to the deck then the speakers are strapped down to the frame.

    [IMG] [IMG]

Next year I would like to build a railing around the trailer so the girls can stand up, but still be safe.

Heads up display. This'll allow me to have other things on main display, and it's much easier than trying to make out the dials.

This shot was taken a little low, it doesn't really go much over the hood.

    I got it via bezos.

It replaces the tweeter cover panel. I suppose I could chop it up and mount it center, but nawwww. Wire is easy to run straight down to OBD2. There's a slight delay before it gets the correct speed, but no more than about half a second.

This is an honest question, why do people buy bed mats? Just so stuff doesn’t slide around or does the protection actually matter? I have the drop in like plastic liner that and I’ve done a bunch of beach stone loads and it seems to have held up fine. Just curious why a lot of people go for them?

I found the OEM bed mat helps keep things from sliding around for the most part. I got a good deal on it also. I'd agree the stock bed does fine and the drop in liners also do fine. I guess it's a matter of personal preference.

my main reason was to keep things from sliding around. But, I think protecting the liner is an added bonus of having it.

I scratched my bed sliding/moving cargo around, plus the cargo would/could slide around while in motion, the added bed mat stopped all that, but I will admit, it does make it harder to slide cargo in the bed when loading stuff... lol
I also added a tailgate protector hard mounted mat thingy also...

Thanks for the reply, yeah I wasn't sure if something was wrong or if it was normal...

    This and that
Had a roughneck Rubbermaid container back there once with no mat. Thing sat between the wheel wells, so it’s big and wide. Drove around town, doing whatever listening to that thing slide all over. By the time I got home it was in the same spot but facing the other direction.
