Did these ever end up on the test bench? I’ve been checking the thread every few weeks and somehow missed it if they did.

OP, have you ever looked at "Projector Specific LED" named SNGL H11 SH70P2 ?
They on Amazon, manufacturer called them "projector specific".
Intriguing, interested in your pro opinion.
    Thank you in advance.

All you have to do is look at them on their website to instantly know that they will not work as intended in an automotive projector headlamp assembly, and if you're not convinced, just look at their photos of the beam patterns, from which, it is easily deduced that these will heavily over light the area directly in front of the vehicle.

Without running test, it is obvious that such large emission area LED bulb does nothing but a loose focus poor beam.
"other" look pretty bad but SNGL look even worse by their own image.

Design of the bulb is not the one filling the typical void of LED bulb in a projector, it simply uses a terribly loose focus capability massive LED chip, so not being able to focus, as a result, look like filling more
This is useless, harmful scatter to driver comfort.

Tip of the arrow indicates the approximate location of the "foreground." This point land on the ground that is only 12m from the headlamp (lamp height assumption of 0.85m high)

Professional advice, this kind of design is pure failure, don’t waste money
