Good morning. Guess I'll install the dashcams in both vehicles today.

Both vehicles now have front and rear dash cameras. Wasn't bad to install them, worst part was under dash wiring (mainly tucking the extra wire that's bundled up away from everything). Got them set up for the most part, both are still reading march 9th 2025 for some reason they won't change the dates even through the app settings. I'll contact viofo tomorrow about that.

This is my view, not obstructing view at all. I mounted it directly to the rearview mirror riser bracket.

I forgot to get pictures of the front dash camera in the Rav4 Adventure. I mounted it to the plastic housing in front of the mirror so its centered and up onto of the way. I'll get some pics tomorrow.

Figured it out. It was set to d/m/yr. I changed it to m/d/yr.

For those with 5th Gen Rav4's this is where I mounted the front viofo A229 Plus dash cam. Not the the view at all.

I placed it there so its centered, out of view and I can still easily clean the windshield without having to remove it.

Evening gents. Thank god tomorrow is Friday might have been a shorter week but I've been Uber slammed with services this week. Had a new guy with me today he was training me lol. He just moved back to jersey from south Carolina. He has 26yrs exp in pest control. Actually learned alot from him which is super helpful to progress my career in pest control.

Getting a quote this evening for Radon mitigation. Measured it 2 yrs ago when I had the floor opened up for the bathroom construction and it was 6.86 , so I waited till I had the floor all sealed up with a couple more inches of concrete . Now it reads 7.40 go figure. Think it's supposed to be below 4. But I've lived here over 50yrs, so is it really bad for you ?

Getting below 4 was a condition of buying my house. Was at like 7, they put one fan in the north west side of my house and it came back just over 4, so they added another in the south east and it read like 1.2 or something. This was also in the dead of winter when readings are supposedly highest.

Some good info, thanks. He quoted me $1500. Just don't like the gutter looking duct going up the middle of the house.

I have a detector and mine vacillates, but is often high. I have a similar attitude. I've been here almost 33 years. Is it slowly killing me? isn't most things? I would like to get a mitigation system, if I can afford it. Let me know what things cost, if you will. Edit: I missed your post with the cost. I don't feel like dropping $1500. Maybe I'll just open the basement windows a crack.

:pccoffee:  PA peeps/wannabes/glow-in-the-darkers. For a reference point, the radon level in Stanley Watras' house was 1700! He's the guy that walked through the radiation detector on his way INTO work at the Limerick nuclear plant, thereby setting the whole radon testing industry in motion. The house is just outside of Boyertown.
