I was thinking that too, pumped up to the standard 175 psi and regulated down to normal shop pressure of about 100 psi you could probably run a tire shop for the entire day.

New vacuum for the garage, $10 at a yard sale.
    This sounds promising.

Got to run a manual lathe for the first time in a long time making some centering slugs for our fixtures in our new machines. Made the first one and realized I undersized the length, but it'll work. Then the next two my dang drill walked and now my holes are a bit on the large side. Not too happy about it, but they're usable.

New tires will be here next week, let's see if the redneck method will work until then. :anonymous:

I'm ok putting air in it a few times a day - I would like to be able to make it out of the garage however. :fingerscrossed:

I do them myself, guess I earned Arby's! :hungry:

There is actually a tube floating around in there too, I "found" it in the archives and went to the time & trouble to put it in -- only to remember why it was sitting around.

It leaks around the stem when installed, it was fine when I tested it outside the tire.
I was mad enough I just left it in there and put a regular valve stem and the Fix a Flat in.

I use slime in every tire I install.
    Usually a ounce.
Then I swish it around the sidewall.
Be careful taking that tire off.
    Use gloves, mask.
I had to deal with that crap for years. NOT FUN!!!
