Just completed: "THUNDERBOLT!" by Robert S. Johnson, 1959, 257 pages.

Having reached his maximum allowable flight hours, Johnson was returned to the USA in June 1944. At that time he was the leading U.S. fighter ace in the ETO, with 28 aerial victories. This story begins with his desire to become a flyer at age eight.

Just completed: "Crusaders, The Epic History of the Wars for the Holy Lands" by Dan Jones, 2019, 425 pages.

Jones takes a thorough look at all the principals from every side.

Just completed: "The Longest Winter, The Battle of the Bulge and the Epic Story of WW II's Most Decorated Platoon" by Alex Kershaw, 2004, 330 pages.

Quite a story that was completely unknown to me.

Just completed: "Antietam, The Battle that Changed the Course of the Civil War" by James M. McPherson, 2002, 203pages.

McPherson examines the war's progress leading up to, and results afterward.

Just completed: "Disease X And Military Martial Law" by Todd S. Callender, 2025, 337 pages.

Callender presents the Congressional legislation passed suspending Constitutional, Civil and Article III rights, placing Americans under the control of DHA/DOD should a public health emergency be declared.

Started on this, I’ve enjoyed it so far. Lots of great history.

Just completed: "Buckley, The Life And The Revolution That Changed America" by Sam Tanenhaus, 2025, 1018 pages.

Tanenhaus covers everything from his early life to his last days.

Go Like Hell by AJ Baime

It's the story of Ford and Carroll Shelby developing the GT40 to fight Ferrari at Le Mans and the book that the movie Ford v Ferrari was based on.

It's really good.

These graphic novels were read some time ago but I thought I would gather them in one post to showcase them all.

The illustrations make all the difference, the stories are fascinating.

Just completed: "Dylan Goes Electric, Newport, Seeger, Dylan, and the Night That Split the Sixties" by Elijah Wald, 2015, 354 pages.

I became aware of Wald's book only after the release of the film based on it, which I have yet to see.

Just completed: "Dissolving Illusions. Disease, Vaccines and the Forgotten History" by Dr. Suzanne Humphries & Roman Bystrianyk, 2013/2023, 679 pages.

200+ pages added to this 10th-year re-release where Humphries and Bystrianyk expose the whole sordid mess of the vaccine religion from Jenner in the 18th century up to the present decade.
