What type of electrical connector is this?

I'm trying to identify the type of electrical connector shown in the pics below. This runs to the back corner of the truck, has switched 12v power when truck is on. It's a 4 pin connector, with perhaps 10-12ga wire running to the connector (white with black strip, and solid black wires are powered).

It appears that the female side of it is labelled "11288". It seems like this category of components is 90918 prefix. So maybe 90918-11288, but I can't find any pics to verify.

The end goal here is to see if I can fabricate a harness connecting to the female plug so I can DIY my own 12v power port to the bed without running any other wires and without cutting a huge hole like the OEM 12v power port box requires.

The male plug is shown with the white plastic centering pin. It is just a blank to keep the terminals clean on the female plug.

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

The other option, albeit a more expensive one, is to buy the whole PT949‑35340 power port kit, disassemble the part, retaining only the wiring harness, then simply attach that to my own 12v cigarette outlet. However, it appears that the fuse is not located in the main fuse block under the hood. Instead, people on the other Tacoma forum are saying it's part of the wiring harness next to the outlet port. I've looked in the Yazaki catalog, and this looks very similar but not identical to the 090II series connector housings. That still doesn't really help as that's just the housing.

Look online for a pdf of the "Toyota Wire Harness Repair Manual" from 2007. It should be in a number of places, and it's been discussed here in a number of threads, too.

It's a complicated and kinda tricky thing to get familiar with, having almost 400 pages with all kinds of diagrams. As a resource to part numbers, pin numbers, and depinning, there's nothing else like it.

Brilliant. 30 seconds later. The part is 90980-11288, and the male version is 90980-11287. Case closed.

Right. The male one has that very rigid red barb that can be a bitch to dicsonnect.

We're still talking about electric connectors, right?

Plug it into the fuse box under your hood & watch your ECM go "BOOM", dawg...

That's interesting. Thank you. With a test lamp, I got 12v power on both the black and white with black stripe but only with the ACC on. It looks like it should be continuously powered via a 50a maxi fuse. So I need to mess around some more to figure this out. The 12v on the W-B might just be a phantom voltage.

    Edit:

Disregard. It is powered with the truck off and only on black. I just rechecked it.

So this means it could be wired in using a custom harness since the EWD has the connector types to interface with, and if it is mean for a tire inflator, generously sized wire so no need to run anything additional to the back since it's already there.

Place a relay at the mating connector, use green (#1) to activate it. Use lower amp (if you like) fuse. If not then you'll require a high amp relay.
