Because this dude was absolutely correct! I cleaned up the "Breather Block" layout. Much, much better. Thanks for the suggestion! I was blinded by ricer excitement! haha

 

Installed the RoadMaster Active Suspension. Took a couple hours. I think I gained about .50" lift in the back, but just wanted stability so I'll give it some time to see if it settles some if it doesn't I don't care. I wanted this mostly for correcting axle wrap.

Great product. I have had the kit installed for 5 years.

 

Good to hear! I'll give it a test drive later today, these replaced my Hellwig 2002 helper springs which are pretty good, but thought the RAS was beefier.

Test drive was nice, noticeably more stability.

I am thinking about reinstalling the Hellwigs back on, which should completely eliminate all axle wrap.

Where are the squeak points? I just jumped on the bumper and I got a hella squeak.

 

Don’t mind the bug slaughter. Chipping away at the projects. 60% rear seat delete and some Baja Designs SAE amber fogs can be checked off the list. On to the next.

 

Which catalytic protection is everyone liking more. Ca is bumping up again with them.

 

I would put them on my 2021 in a heart beat if only.....

they weren't just a bunch of exposed metal to rust up. ;-(

Here in "Salt Country", those extended rubber bump stops make a lot of sense. I need to give them a try.

I’ll have to do that with mine, maybe with a skull though. I have skulls for the ditch lights…

Removed Air Intake snorkel and started the cleaning process.

I like the way Car Care Nut says, Do Not Disconnect the Battery. Then Oil Drop opens his video and says step One is disconnect the battery, both terminals.

I like the way Oil Drop says be careful not to get shreds of the towel inside the throttle body, I thought that was sage advice. Car Care Nut didn't mention this, did he?

After watching the videos, and seeing this post, maybe I'll do this again within a couple weeks. Thanks Caber.

 

Yes, both had good advice. I didn’t disconnect my battery and used micro fibre cloths.

 

I think I'll do the same, but use a shop towel, those blue Burley paper towels.

kid: Yeah, they don't make pennies anymore and I bought an OEM one. I want to take care of the truck I'll get one day.
me: You better start doing the oil changes then, and buy from the local parts store next time.

Simple enough to do by yourself without raising the truck or using a jack. Was one of the first mods I did after I bought mine.
