I know.. I know... search the forums.. Ive searched, and everything is just a picture, or "ask Mr. Marv."

I am trying to build a box for a shallow mount 10" kicker sub. I am trying to keep on the driver side, the 40 of the 60/40 split.

    I somewhat used:

as a template, but I think my box is slightly bigger... 8" at the bottom instead of 7.5" deep... is it going to fit? It wont fit without me taking the seat out, but if I can remove the rear seat, put it in, and reinstall the seat, will it work or will the sub hit into the rear seat?

Long story short, can anyone give me some basic size specs for a subbox that stays ONLY on the driver side. My amp is being mounted under the driver seat.

    Thanks!

Yes that will fit. Yes it will prevent the seat from folding down unless you remove the plastic seat back. How are you modifying the trim for the stoarge to get that to fit? You will have to cut off the mountig tabs or makes boxed indents for them. You will be cutting plastic too.

I removed the plastic storage bin behind the set completely. It will just be the box behind the set.

I didn't follow the template exactly.

Instead of sloping from 7.5" --> 3.5", mine slopes from

    8" - 4"

My question is will THAT fit?
