I used Ready Lift leveling kit. I wanted to keep some rake that’s why I went with a 1.5”/1” lift

Are they always amber or just when flashing as a turn signal?

That sounds about right. I took advantage of one of the sales earlier in the year with free shipping at the same time so it wasn't quite as bad as it usually is. I can't find the original invoice/email anymore to give the exact number though.

    Installed my GMRS antenna.

Removed some paint from the bottom of the bracket so it's grounded to the hood. And yes I tested it with a meter.

    Worked out well

Why is your truck wheel-clamped in what I assume is your own driveway?

Installed the factory red tow hooks (found them on Fred Anderson Toyota for $75 less due to this site). I see why so many people complain about the front air dam, it is big and also hides accessories like the tow hooks, etc. I don’t think I’m going to remove it though, I think it looks okay.Wash able to clean it up real good also.

Installed TRD exhaust. It’s a bit less raspy than stock, a little more growl. You can hear the turbo like crazy now! Had to take down the tire and play Tetris a bit to get the stock exhaust out. tRD exhaust slipped in much easier. One person job if you can fit underneath.

Has anyone installed Rough Country fender flares on a 2025 TRD Sport? I attempted install this morning. The tiny 3m rubber gasket was difficult to attach properly, but even harder was trying to install front fender flare. I stopped after 2 hours of effort. Holes in plastic flare seemed out of alignment with holes in fender. Any tips, suggestions, pictures, or videos appreciated.

Put them on my OR. Definitely was harder than I expected! Took about 3-4 hours! To get the holes on top to align you have to push the flare in pretty hard, almost a 2 person job? The gaskets, just take your time they won’t look perfect but after a few warm days they fit clean against the fender. They key is to get them so the are angled slightly upward away from the flare if that makes sense? then they will fit nicely. Also they did install over the OEM flares.

Anyone done a top speed test? Just got back from a 4100 mile round trip to Montana in my 2025 SR two wheel drive. (detuned engine) There’s a particular spot I like to open it up. A long 3 mile downhill with no houses or ranch driveways. My old 2014 Taco 2.7 liter would top out at 99.9 mph in the same spot.

New Taco topped out at 105 mph on the GPS. It feels like you are hitting the brakes the computer would not let me go one mile an hour faster.

Not exactly on purpose…but got it to 100. Some asshat was driving 65 in a 75. Once we get to passing lane, they decide to increase speed so that I had too as well. As soon as I passed I slowed down. That happens quite a bit on this particular highway for some reason. The truck felt solid even with mud terrain tires.

I've driven too fast on the street in cars much better equipped to go fast than a pickup truck.

I don't need to go fast in a truck lol

You guys need to drive a good sports car then you'll understand how sketchy trucks are above 65mph

Put this TRD emblem on the grill. Not sure if I’m going to leave it or not. Very frustrated I dropped a small nut that affixes it to the grill. It’s in my front end somewhere. I looked for hours but can’t locate it. Hope it doesn’t cause issues later on.

Also ordered a couple of the silicone protectors for my key fobs. I’m a big fan of these.

The emblem and protector both came from Etsy. That site has a lot of cool stuff.
