Good Morning to all

 

Camping next week, no cell service, paper map , compass. It’s a State Park, so not exactly wilderness, right on Lake Superior.

 

To me, "no ocell service" == No One Can Bother Me!!

 

We’ve been there before, before cell phones, and lived. Beautiful spot, it will be an adventure, Moose and Black Bear country.

So I did the Google search, without cell service , Camera, Apple Music still works . Just can’t make or receive phone calls or text . If anyone has first hand experience, please let me know

 

I would need the 3 lined paper to even get anything remotely legible.

 

Just had a little fun with my Brother , he let me borrow his 2018 Toyota Highlander while he and his Wife are in Florida at their other house . I told him I Put 10 gal of 110 octane Race fuel and his car is running so much better and it's has a nice grape odor from the tail pipe . And while driving it the SUV seems to pull hard from a stoplight

The Wooden Boat Show is in Mystic CT at the end of June. I’ve never been.

 

Ya gotta put that one on the calendar, I’ve been to one years ago, unbelievable the craftsmanship that goes into them.

 

Maybe, that’s one of the good spots. The beach is covered in weathered stones. Really hoping for clear skies at night, the sky over Lake Superior is awesome

 

I built an 18 kayak years ago from one of their kits.

 

I helped restore this old Coast Guard lifeboat, a lot of work.

 

The stones up there on the beach are flat, great skippers

 

Apple Music will only work if you have purchased the music, I do not believe it will work if you are just subscribing to it from a monthly point of view. Also your GPS with off road maps will also work without service, you just will not get updated images while driving, so if your following a path or trail it will still lead you accordingly.
