I've done Iron Range twice, it is definitely outside of my comfort zone.
The green trails are all fun, I did one of the blue trails and decided that was it for me. Spider Lake is more my jam, plus that one is near Cuyuna MTB

Are you planning on camping or driving out and back on the same day?

Also if you mountain bike at all Redhead MTB park in Chisholm is definitely worth a stop.

 

If that iron range is the same place they show on recoveryteam vids, be prep;ared for lots of really big rocks.

 

5" lift with 40's and they had issues. I'm out.

 

But, did they have A-TRAC?

 

Bigger tires don't make better drivers.
