A compression test, followed by an injector test would be my next check.

Does no. 6 misfire only when hot but runs fine on cold start?

    How many miles on engine?

Yes you are capable of diagnosing this yourself. Both Autozone and O'Reilly's have loaner tools. In addition you will need some basic tools, a 3/8 ratchet, some extensions and a spark plug socket. If you dont have these tools can you borrow them? If not, buying them for a one time job mignt not make economic sense. If you decide to take it to a shop and they do preform a compression test and there is a problem, have them preform a cylinder leak down test too, this will point to where the compression is going.

If the compression tests are OK then I would suspect the #6 injector is at fault. This is a bit more difficult to diagnose. Usually people will start throwing parts at the motor hoping that it isnt an injector, the ones that work correctly are not cheap but it seems that replacing the injector fixes the mystyrious (sp?) misfires. The other thing to think about is what is called proximity of repairs. You are paying for the labor to diassemble to get to the injector and while you are there, replace the other 2 if your budget allows. All 6 injectors are of the same age and it would be a real pisser to have to pay for a second injector on that side 3 months later.

Any other questions or concerns... do not hesitiate to ask, there are no dumb questions.

Glamisman im having a hell of a time figuring out how to reply on here. Okay thank you so much that was really helpful. I'm going to run over to O'Reilly's. The check engine light was on when I bought it however the guy said he would take care of it. We've had to put 2 gas tanks on it. Some kind of leak. Ive replaced all 6 spark plugs wires and all 3 cores on the other side. I can smell gas
