I wish I had ordered mine with a manual instead of an automatic. But… nothing like banging through the gears at a full 44psi boost. I wound up eating 4 transmissions with the last one shearing the input shaft.

Yep, I checked whatever box I needed to get one in my 2016. A manual transmission, heated cloth pickup with a sunroof is a wild combination, but it's the perfect one for me.

I'm still grumbling I couldn't find a STI Limited as that's the only way to get the moonroof on those cars but after a year of looking I gave up when I found mine.

I forget which level would get you a moonroof / sunroof on the WRX, whether it was the Premium or Limited. My friend had a 2018 Limited with the roof.

The 2019-2021 STIs basically had three levels, base, base + Recaro and Limited. I ended up with a base + Recaro.

You're going sideways around a corner or over a bridge.

    Either way, buckle in.

Don’t forget about those times when you don’t have a tire on the ground and can only hope the vehicle front of you didn’t slam on the brakes.

    I think(pretty sure) mine is a premium.

No complaints. Just banged out 350ish miles this afternoon.

This thing sips fuel compared to anything I've ever owned. Pretty wild.

Just need to keep telling myself, no mods. No meds.

Man, it's been an annoying 48 hours. I decided to bring my truck in for service, oil and front diff. I tried to DIY my diff before but rounded the hex a bit so I decided to make it someone else's problem. Since the TRD skid covers the fill / drain port I decided to be a nice guy and drop the skid in my garage last night. It came off fine, but I didn't realize that the body shop must have dropped the skid to replace the bumper cover. They must have cranked on one of the bolts with an impact as one bolt stretched. Fine, whatever, I'll order a replacement hardware kit. I marked the drain bolt as I wanted to make sure the dealer didn't say "oh good" and not do the service. I also replaced my LF wheel with my spare since I know they'll be pulling the wheel to do the work and my wife's Jeep's wheels are destroyed from ugga dugga enthusiasts

I got my truck back and the drain bolt's untouched. So I went in and played dumb and said "are you sure you did the front, not the rear by accident". They brought the tech out who said he couldn't get the drain out without stripping it worse and pumped it out. I don't love that, but I also get it and that would track with the tool marks I noticed after the discussion (and he wasn't prepped with what I saw so his story matched circumstances 100%, so I do 100% believe him). I got home and discovered a (major for me, have to point it out to any who isn't me) dent on my hood, likely from pushing it down to have the hood latch. My hood latch has always been finicky, so as a courtesy for the mechanics I pop the hood so they don't have to pry it up.

Can I say with 100% certainty the dent is new and I didn't do it, no. Can I assume it was likely done by accident by someone at the dealer closing it without lifting and dropping it down, absolutely. Am I dwelling on it far too much, 100%. I can't exactly go in guns hot as it's such a minor mark anyone who isn't me would be like "really Mike, really?" Plus my track record of being pleased with bodywork as of late hasn't been all that great.

    /rant.

If I drank, I'd be drinking tonight lol.

I’d stick within the specified grip range. I’ve tried to cheat it and it doensnt work well typically. There is nothing more frusturating than a spinning rivnut either

The problem is I cannot say 100% it was the dealer that did it. I can say I'm 99.9% sure it is because I know every imperfection on that truck on any given day, but I cannot be 100% sure it wasn't there and I literally missed it. Unlikely, absolutely, but definitive, no.
