Here's the info for the ignition system.

Now that I have an accurate diagram and somewhat of a diagnosis tree I can help him. Trying to look up diagrams on a phone is not good.
Everything in the picture was replaced (by him) except for the main switch (picture is wrong, it's a negative ground system). I think there is an issue with the pickup coil.
I think I'll stop by tomorrow after work.

I hope to have the HF case mounted, the chase light installed (have to order wire) and the remote start wired this weekend.

Opened the case and

 

Waiting on the insurance to come through so I can try and make an appointment at DMV to register the car.

My cousin suggested Grundy, which is who he had when he had his Buick Grand National. Checked them out and they were the cheapest, so went with them. Had to submit pics of the car, and the garage. Did it all yesterday, so now waiting for the underwriting to be done and then letting me know it's done and send the insurance card and pay.

Making an appointment at DMV is gonna be interesting... been scoping out the situation for that, and looks like either there aren't any appointments available near me, and if there is one is crazy far. DA FUK is up with this appointment availability bullshit?!?!

DMV sucks.

 

I'm assuming with it coming from NY you also need to get an emissions test. My car came from Florida so I needed a test. I'm in line at an Economy Lube for the test and there's an F150 in front of me. I just had this weird feeling and didn't pull up right behind him...and when he made the turn to be next at the door I didn't turn and stayed so I wasn't directly behind him.

So...he pulls forward...and smashes into the glass paneled garage door. It's fortunate no one inside was injured. That was the end of emission testing that day.
I called the next morning "is the emissions bay door fixed?" "Yeah, we're back up and running" when I get there the guy looks at me and says "that was you next yesterday" "Yep, that was me"

 

Maybe on initial registration since it's from NY, but classic plates are emission exempt.

 

I had to make a dmv appt recently and found the best thing to do since you need to enter a bunch of info before you can see appt availability is to just make a random appt for a week or two out and then it's easy to change the appt time and place as new slots open up. Just check back a couple times a day. I found a Saturday 8am appt so hoping to be in and out pretty quick before they start getting backed up.

 

Definitely gonna do that... problems is, nothing has been popping up recently.

Organized all the nutserts during lunch, took about a half an hour. Removed 4 that I'll be using and put tape on the containers so they don't open again.
Would have been nice if they were bagged seperately.

How are you mounting it / why only use 1?
