Good morning everybody :hattip: We’ve made it to the weekend, have a great Saturday!

I was busy wrenching on vehicles yesterday. It was a build day for the grandkids Christmas presents.

I know it’s a bit early but the local Ollie's store had them on a closeout sale for both for the regular price of one.

Andy, no repeaters to get to Washington, that was all HF (high frequency) work. Bouncing the signals off of the ionosphere. He surprised us when he called in. The bands just opened up for a few minutes and he was loud and clear. We were talking and they started to close up again but it was a good contact. I was happy to get him as I needed WA for my Worked All States award.

    Good morning all.

I was up last night with the dog. The additional medication doesn’t appear to have done much if anything.

I’m supposed to meet my daughter and her BF at a brewery this afternoon. Hopefully I’ll feel like going.

    Good morning, gang!

Interesting TEAMS meeting yesterday. My "boss" is officially no-ones boss but they kept him for his 'expertise' as the investment company
re-structures how EVERYTHNG gets done. We were told to expect many new hires very soon, as the R&D dept is woefully understaffed. I wonder if these 'new faces' will be from the Tide Rock investment company?

I now have to report to the 20 year old guy that was given the title of Sr Engineer last week.. I needs to go somewhere else before this ship finishes sinking and takes me to the bottom with it.

Last Wednesday I went to a buddy's house to use his hydraulic press to start the process of replacing the DS wheel bearing in the T4R. I got everything apart and he ran out of time for the night so we re-grouped last night and got everything put back together. It was fun trying to scramble around and find what ever bits of scrap steel we could to rig up enough spacers to fit the knuckle inside of the small press. It felt good when we started putting some pressure on the outer race to drive it into the housing and it just started going in without a fight. I really appreciated that he took time away from his busy schedule to give me a hand in his shop and just to catch up on life.

I'm headed outside to finish putting the rig back together then take a victory lap before making the FBMP ad for the rig. It needs a frame to be safe to drive anymore and I don't have the space/time to pull that off on my own.

I did find a nice 5th gen T4R in Columbus, GA that I'm giving very serious thought about going after. It's a cheap $65 flight to ATL, but it's an hour away to the south from there. It seems that a car rental is going to be the most convenient way of getting to Columbus. Only Delta flies directly to Columbus and they didn't have any flights listed for the immediate future.

The truck has now been cleand inside and out. A few tiny chip marks on the hood and several scratches that I put here and there.

I didn't do a great job on the outside because of a bad O ring on the pressure washer.

    But my shoes are clean
