    I went from C-rated ko2 265/70/17 to E rated ko2 in 275/70/17 and now have e-rated ko3 in 275/70/17

the jump from the c-rated 265 ko2s to the E-rated 275 ko2 was noticeable. They were obviously a stiffer and heavier tire. However, I feel the 275 ko3 splits the difference. It’s a lot smoother and “softer” tire than the k02 in my perception. It also looks fantastic.

ultimately getting the right air pressure for your preference will make more difference than the e vs c rating. I run the 275’s at 32 psi cold and that seems to result in a good ride and even wear. I air down to 25 psi on logging roads, FSRs etc if I anticipate a bunch of potholes.
