Looking for some collective experience on buying an old truck.

I'm in the market for a 2012-2015 DCSB TRD OR, something <160k miles (yeah, not to be too specific)

I've look at the usual places: TacomaWorld (of course), Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace. I'll probably stay away from dealerships as I don't necessarily need something polished, and am happy to do my own fix-up/patch-up/tune-up, so the extra price of a dealer isn't really worth it for me (more $$ for mods).

Anyhow, I noticed a truck here for sale that had originally been bout on Bring-A-Trailer. I've never used the site before and don't know anything about it. I had thought it was primarily for vintage cars etc.

Anyone here have some info: the good, the bad, the ugly?

Any tips on bidding, transport, gotchas etc?
