On my Gen2, I ran Bilstein 5100 series shocks and I was never happy with them. Felt like they were stiff and didn’t do much for the ride quality.
Now on my Gen3, I decided to go with Eibach 2.0 coilover. I have put over 10k miles on them with variable driving that includes standard roads, dirt roads, snow, and a little off-roading. I really like the ride and ordered them directly from Eibach and their customer service was great.

Good info. I’m eyeing eibach Stage 2. I’m a little concerned about corrosion on the zinc coated shocks. My yellow painted shocks have held up well.

I’m not sure about the longevity on the coating. I live near the ocean in SoCal and travel to Utah for skiing a lot in the winter. So far, I have only noticed rust on the top nut and threads.
