I can tell you my experience with em. I used a friend's 2 seasons ago multiple times and absolutely loved it. Bought one beginning of last season; I didn't climb a single tree (other than ladder stand) all season long. Its honestly my favorite setup. Its a millenium seat - if you've sat in one (whether tree seat, lock-on, fishing seat, blind chair, etc), you've sat in them all. They're extremely comfortable. I firmly believe there's no single option that works "best" for every situation (sometimes you need a blind, a climber, a saddle, on the ground, etc), so adding this to the arsenal is a seriously nice move.

Pro tip: find smaller-medium sized trees that have a slight lean back and hang it lower than you'd think. Almost like sitting in a recliner, and you can prop rifle on knees if needed for shooting. Clear yourself an area around your feet down to bare dirt so you can extend legs from time to time and not make noise/move feet if need to turn to make a shot.
