Not that this is Toyota related but installed a new bumper this weekend, a lot of work to get this done.

Its going.. Work, eat, home, sleep, repeat.

    Bumper looks good. Looks heavy.

Yep, I have the same routine for work.

It is, I can definitely feel it on the front suspension. Have not decided if I need to take the shocks apart yet and load them up one more spot, will drive it some more to determine if that is needed.

Yeah, like mine.. im thinking I should go up two more inches. You got the right coils to hold the weight?

Well that there lies the issue, I am not sure as I bought what was available at the time but they do have different adjustments. I will need to do some research on them to make sure. I did look at some Elka’s again, what is had on the Tacoma and they come with 700lb springs vs the standard 600lb ones.

The adjustments just provide lift right? Maybe just see what the specs are of the springs and struts, see if they hold.
When I had my 5100 I had them at the top settings and it rode rough. Then I went with the lowest setting and got 885 coils.

I believe I am in the middle of these shocks currently and I will need to research them. They seem to be holding fine from just driving here locally but I can tell the front end is lower now.

    . Good deal

It crossed my mind when I got the bumper but was not really sure how it would affect them.
