Stronger motor on the PCXP. Worth the cost IMHO. I have an original PC and I have used the PCXP. The PCXP wins hands down.

I still use my old PC but only for a last step jewel finish process. Really makes the dark colors pop.

Yes and it is easier to work the polish across the paint. Basically it acheived the desired finish in less time with less effort on your part.

Sorry for all the question, but I was wondering if this would be a good kit to start out with? Or should I just buy everything seperate?

I am biased but I would start with this kit and add a yellow and orange pad.

This is a nice kit with a good price point. I would also add a white and yellow pad.

Remember you will still need a wax. This wax will really make BSP look remarkable.
A little goes a long way.

My pickup's all of two weeks old, so it got it's first wash today, Maguire's soap, the yellow microfiber towels from costco, and it looks okay. Found a couple tiny dings already though. I have not waxed it though, it's below 50 F out, not sure if it needs to be warmer to wax or not, but I figured I would be safe enough waiting a month between full waxes since I only wash every other week? I was thinking of sticking with the maguire's cleaning wax until I clay it sometime in June, then switching up to something better for a regular wax. Does that sound reasonable?

I know it's kinda a noob question, but in the four years I had my Mazda pickup, I NEVER washed it, not once, so this whole 'taking care of the paint job' is a bit of a new concept for me.

The Megs was is decent. Use a lot of it as it is not that expensive. Have a second bucket of clean water to rinse the wash clothe out. You will be amazed at the dirt that will be in the rinse bucket.

I would also look for a decent wash mitt. These can be expensive, anywhere from $10 to $35 depending on what you pick up.

You should not need a cleaning wax yet. I would also look at Mothers carnuba paste wax. It is probably one of the best waxed you can pick up at Advanced Auto or other auto parts stores.

I normally wait until the temp hits 55 before waxing. The only reason is sealants cure time is les in warmer weather.

Have fun and take your time. Put some music on a sound source near where you are doing the work.

I've put on Meg's NXT 2.0 a few times, now a want to try a wax. How long do I have to wait before I apply the wax, and is there anything I have to do before putting the wax over the sealer?
    Thanks!
    Dave...

    Dave:
Just make sure the Tacoma is washed and dried before putting on the wax. If you have a quick detailer you might want to use that after drying and before the wax goes on.

Decent deal on a polisher and pad combo. Just add an orange pad and you should be set.

I have the GG polisher and it works really well.

Try to use code AGO at the checkout for free shipping.

whenever it rains, I get a black stain stripe down the side of my white access cab, right below the back windows...obviously coming from the black window weather stripping...How can I correct this problem?

I've noticed a lot of them do that. Weird. Since mine hasn't had a chance to start doing this yet, should I treat the trim after I wash it to prevent this? 303?

First you have to accept the fact that swirl marks are inevitable. Just driving down the freeway will give you swirl marks as the sand hits your truck.

The product is also the lubricant use a lot of it. Rinse your mitt in a bucket with a grit guard in the bottom after every wipe of the truck's surface.

Once you are finished use a QD, Quick Detailer, spray with a quality microfiber towel.

Yes you will get some swirl marks but if your truck is protected with a quality sealant topped with a wax it is not all that bad.

If you have a lot of dirt take the truck through a touchless car wash first
