It souds like you already don't like your choices. You're gonna have to look at those tires every single day for the next 2years... spend a few hundo more and get what you want.

Then again, milder tread isn't a bad thing if you drive primarily street. If I wasn't whipped on mudders for offroading I would definitely pick up some highway tires. Get the Fstones and wrap them around some good looking wheels with the $ you saved.

Thats what my idea was. If I could save a couple hundred on some tires, then I could put some decent wheels on it as well.

I have the cooper st and they have been great on and off road. 60k plus and still going strong. I may look at the ST maxx next. They look pretty nice.

Purchased Destination A/T's on the recommendation of the tire dealer. He has a set on his Dodge Ram. Have them for 3 months and have had no problems. Handle great in the snow and the road noise is minimal on the highway. Ride and Handling are good.

Just ordered the 275/70/17's Destination A/T for $625.32 Mounted and Balanced ... Was going to go with the 285's for $100 dollars less but figured the less weight and width would save me a little MPG in the long run..
