So Im looking to buy my first pallet gun. I have a 50$ one that shoots bbs but it cant kill a mouse. Need something around 100$ just trying to hunt small game. Rabbits, squirrels, and birds.

See that little opening on top of every round? That's where you put the pellet. That will kill your rabbits, guaranteed! ;)

Do you want a rifle or handgun style, also, CO2 or pump? I picked up a decent $30 Walmart special pump pellet/BB gun and it'd do the trick just f-in around.

I had one similar to this one when I was a kid, about 20 years ago. I remember I could only pump it three or four times and would put a pellet into a 2X4 of wood. Since they were pellets, it was a single load shot but awesome for a kid.

GAMO BIG CAT roughly $140 at big5 or walmart. if you lived here in socal i'd give you mine for $100

you need to be 18 to buy a pellet gun, so you must be at least 18. why don't you save another $200 and just go get yourself a shotgun? if you want a small gauge for little things then get a .410 gauge.

    OR

save another $100 and get a ruger 10/22 use primer rounds if you want something with low fps.

I've got a Gamo hunter with a pretty nice low end model leopold scope on it. Single pump break action 1100 fps. That thing is wicked and is dead on accurate up to about 250' or so LOVE IT. Never shot a rabbit but I have taken out many many squirrels with it. Most of them with a BAM headshot none took more than a single shot. birds phft. no prob drop them mid flight.

This! The colibris arn't any louder than a pellet gun, and then if you want more power you can throw in a 22lr and take bigger stuff out

Primer rounds are basically intentionally manufactured squib loads, with similar risks. The CTD listing even carries this warning:

"Do not use in long-barreled guns as the projectile may become lodged and be dangerous (lethal) if a regular cartridge is shot as a follow up. Will not cycle in semi-auto handguns."

I've shot the probably 300-400 colibri's through a 10/22 and never had a problem with them
