Age difference with your significant other

In the recent relationship I had, I was 8 months older. When I was 19 I was messing around with a 29 yr old. She taught me a thing or two haha

GF is 25 I'm 43 been together for almost a year ;-)

 

I'm 4months older and been married for 11 years and been together for 13 and we are still like best friends adn she puts up with all my shit lol.

YIKES ... I was just thinking ... the difference between Hugh Hefner and his new wife is about ... 60 years age difference ...

5 years.... When we met 10 yrs. ago she was 22 & I was 27...
Married 8 years this coming September with a 6 1/2 yr old daughter & a 3 1/2 yr old son.

Wow..It's been almost 2 yrs since I started this thread .
I'll be 30 this year, he's turning 43 this month...and we have been together going on 4yrs this year. It's still going great .

I am 3 months and -1 day older than my wife.
and I like how you used "significant other" for the other side of relationships. Thumbs up for be politically correct.

 

I turn 22 May 20th and my girlfriend turns 22 September. We have been dating for 6 years and 3 months...

 

I am 5 Years 6 Months older, been together 2 years

 

Wife has 2 years on me. She's 29, I'm 27. Been together 8-9 years, something like that, Married 1.

 

were both 29 shes 3 months older ...and she thinks those 3 months make her way smarter and wiser than me

 

I generally subscribe to the (1/2)x(my age)+7 formula for my maximum allowable age difference, although I have made short term exceptions in a few extenuating circumstances.

 

Met my wife when she was 31 and I was 38 (that's 7 years ). 37 and 44 now, just got married recently. This has seemed an ideal difference...not so much that she doesn't know music and movie references, but enough to keep it interesting in, umm, the superficial areas

What can I say, I'm honest to a fault and men age like wine and women age like milk My opinion, but I think that being near to the same age works great till close to 40; then an honest man will want to distance that. There are always exceptions, I'm talking generalities. Plus one of the happiest married men I know has a wife 11 years his senior, which is awesome except for all the strippers on his speed dial. Just sayin...
