Meh, my house is 110 years old, was assembled, parts labeled, disassembled then hauled 100 miles by horse and buggy, and reassembled. Needless to say, our electrical isn't up to "code" and we can't turn on the microwave without turning off the kitchen lights. Can't run the microwave if the coffee maker is on, and lights are off. Can't run the dryer and microwave, or coffee maker at the same time. Can't blow dry your hair in the bathroom if the coffee maker is on... We have the original hardwood floors that creak more than my grandmothers joints, there isn't one level surface in the house except for the coffee in my cup, and we still cook on a wood stove sometimes.

    :)

Oh, and there's no insulation in any part of the house. So yes, this Canadian lives in an igloo.
