    getting there....
    x3.................aal are alot better....stiffen the rear a bit, but make the truck feel "planted" to the road....and blocks can cause bad axle wrap.

    I was readin this post and noticing that people are recommending the diff drop with the lift kits. I have the OME rear lift springs and the dealer that I had install them said that it was not necessary. Also had the OME med duty coils and struts up front. So do I need the diff drop or not in this truck:confused: I did notice that ARB said its an option but have not called them yet to see if I needed this.

    a Diff (differential) drop will lower your front differential to lessen the angle on your CVs. It's a good idea to install this so you don't get any premature wear on your CVs.

    +1... There is a little debate on whether it's necessary or not. Many have a 3" lift and don't have the diff drop and are fine. Some have trouble. The way I look at it is that it's $30 and takes about 10 minutes to install (was the easiest part of the lift). To me, it's just good insurance.

    So, unless there is a specific reason NOT to install it, why not go ahead and do it? Silverback mentioned some fitment issues with the diff drop and Bud Built skids, but so far that's the only negative I've heard of...

    X2. I used to have a spacer lift. Felt every bump in the road. Got some Icon coilovers, set them at 3''. Night and day diff. If you plan on keeping the truck for a while the extra cash for coil overs if deffinatly worth it.:D
