There is a strict no rep discussion policy here because of the actions of certain circus side shows.

Rep is for fun, but it is also something that people crave for some reason. It helps keep things friendly here, because asshats receive negative rep often which encourages them to straighten up. When you get up to a certain rep value, you can turn in your points for mortgage payments.

I won't say that we ban people here based on negative rep, but it has made the decision easier.
