So last night was one of the worst storms I've ever been in.....I live in Irving off of Belt Line between 183 and 161. Anyways you could see the clouds right over my new house run right into each other (the upper and lowers)....thats when the shit hit the fan. I was still moving some stuff from my apartment and I start getting pegged by pea size hail, then ping pong size hail, then freaking Baseball size hail! I stood there watching as my Tacoma, my wifes Lexus and my other Toyota Pickup are being destroyed by this shit. I tried my best to move them under trees and that may have saved my wifes Lexus and my other pickup but the Tacoma took a beating.

I am so pissed off right now. I counted at least 15 very noticeable hail dents. I even got a dent on the damn gas tank cover......One dent by the drivers side rear door above the roof looks like someone took a bat and nailed it. I mean this shit was flying fast and hard, I'm sure it would have knocked me out if I had tried to go out and just stand there. I also got a broken window at the house.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I will try to post pics when I get home today. If any of you damage post some pics.

I guess the only thing that is might save my truck is that I have full coverage insurance and I have already made a claim so we'll see how that goes.

Hey man, I am so sorry to hear that. I had a couple scares lately here in chicago. Had the garage full of stuff and hail hit when I wasnt home. Rained down on my taco and my wifes new srx. Luckily it was off a cross-wind and it didnt hit it hard enough to put any damage down. Time to get a hold of insurance and get some body armor now =)

Depending on how bad it is they may total it.....It takes a lot though.

I had hail last year in NH, who would have thought? It was about $3600 in damages covered by insurance. They replaced the hood and popped all the other dents out. Don't let them use bondo crap to fill in the dents and make sure they repaint the entire vehicle.

Damn dude that sucks. Was your garage not an option? If you need anything let me know. We didn't get much this time around. Just a lot of pea/marble size hail.

Sorry to hear that. I'm grateful to live in an area where we only get pebble size hail 3-4 times a year. I hope it all gets worked out. I can't imagine having to watch my baby get destroyed by such a thing

That's exactly what that shit looked like. I picked one up and it had jagged edges. My buddy actually has a video and you can see my truck getting hammered. I'm caught saying "look at the dents in my truck". I'll try to post up some pics and the video.
