Anyone have a portable power pack for jump starts and inflating tires, which is the best one? Thanks very much in advance for any information.

    Some stuff...
I just orderd the Revo Multi-Function 12V 14000mAh Power Pack (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T74VX24/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that should arrive this week. Will report back on how well it works. If nothing else, its so compact I can always use this recharge my cell phone.

For air, I went with the MasterFlow Tsunami MF-1050 12 Volt Portable Hi Volume Air Compressor (http://www.pepboys.com/product/details/9357343/00031), but I haven't used this yet. Hopefully this weekend I'll test the compressor.

Two separate units, but both are fairly compact.

The compressor that's built into these jump packs isn't going to be enough for airing up tires at the end of the day.

Best to separate out these needs:
    1. jump pack - if you've got the money, get one of the new compact lithium ion ones that are extremely compact and lightweight.
    2. air compressor. You want a sturdy one that attaches to the battery with alligator clips - not one that plugs into the cigarette lighter. It won't be able to draw enough power to get the job done.

I have a second battery in my bed to power accesries in my RTT and such. It is not hooked to the starting battery so no chance of parasitic power draw. It is hooked to my alt. though. in the near future I'm going to hard wire a plug to it for a set of jumper cables so I can jump start the starting battery from it if need be. Just another option for you
