Not only does Cope LC make my little regular cab smell like absolute shit (especially in a open spitter like a fountain drink cup vs. a water bottle) but it is IMPOSSIBLE to clean up.

I always enjoyed chewing, but when I lived up North, chewing was really considered disgusting. Only really low lifes chewed. When I moved to NC, I noticed that all kinds of people chewed...bankers, realtors, sales people, business men, etc.

So when I decided to quit cigarettes (after 35 years) I took up chewing (Levi Garret). I was able to quit cigarettes, but I really liked chewing. And I didn't spit. I just kinda let it roll down my throat.

I quit chewing several times, no problem. But like I said, I really enjoyed it. I got in a pattern of quitting in the fall, then starting back in the spring. But I started to get tooth decay, and gum sores in that back corner of my mouth, so I finally just gave it up entirely. Haven't had any tobacco product for about 10 years, and no cigarettes for about 15 years.

Started off with Copenghagen when I was 11. Dipped that and Skoal till about 11 yrs. ago. I was outside doing something or other in the cold July North Carolina weather. I think it was about 102. Got sick, threw up all over the place and now I can't stand to smell Skoal or Copenhagen anymore. So I started chewing instead. Finally quit last year but still get a craving every once in awhile. Still like my cigars though.

noted lol. my first year of college my suitmate was a from a fairly rich community and despite being somewhat of an outdoorsy guy from his standpoint i was a major redneck lol. i taught him how to drink . . . um . . . cola's :spy: like a real man lol and plenty of other things. he started dipping to try to impress me and he's parents just gave him money like every week so i said something about wanting a mudjug and the next week he had one in the mail. i don't know if the offer is still running but used to if you bought one of the expensive ones with the color scheme on it they threw in the black one for free. so he gave me that one. he doesn't even dip anymore, but i still use the hell out of that mudjug.

take 2 of those grizz pouches and throw them up top. it burns and the spit is black as pavement and it will only last about 10 minutes, but it will buzz you like you're 15 again. . . . and nobody can see them at all.

Chewed from the age of 16 - 30. Quit from 30 - 38. Chewed from 38 -40 and quit in January so its been five months. I miss it but dont miss the money I had to spend because here in Canada its about 15$ a tin and our tin is smaller.

Every year some friends and I do an NFL trip and I would always bring back a log with me. But I can honestly say I dont miss it. Hopeing this time I quit for good.
