So I am in the process of hooking the wiring harness Pioneer gave me and hooking my scosche TA02B wiring harness together. My issue is what do I do with the violet/white wire (Senses whether the vehicle is in drive or reverse)? Do I just cap it off or am I supposed to hook it in with something else.

you can ignore it and tape it off if you have no reverse camera.
