Headlight problems

I have a 1996 Tacoma and ive been having some headlight issues. This winter my right headlight stopped working so i replaced it. About 2-3 months later the other stopped working. So i replaced that one too. A week later the first one that i replaced also stopped working. So agian i replaced it. And agian a couple days later it stopped working.

Now when i noticed it stopped working i could get it to work by flipping the lights on and off untill it worked. Suddenly i would hit a bump or turn off the truck and again it wouldnt work.

Whats going on here?????? I checked the grounds and they seem to be secured just fine. Where should i be looking to trouble shoot this problem.

maybe check ur fuses?

fuses are also good

 

clean the connections in the sockets, or possibly replace the sockets

 

i had both mine go out a fee times on my 99, turns out it was something with my remote starter
