    I was thinking the same thing when I saw that!!

    For 50 mph and hitting a deer, it looks like you came out pretty damn well all things considered. I'm sure that road rash hurts like hell but that could have been a lot worse! Glad you're alright!

    I got lucky with my first wreck. It was under 25 with minor road rash. In my early years of riding i didn't wear a helmet much (iowa doesn't have a helmet law) or wear much for protection. Now, i always have a helmet and a leather motorcycle jacket. When you get your next bike, a leather jacket and leather gloves would be a wise investment. It's good to see your not seriously hurt. Hope you heal fast.

    Just remember with a bike, its not if you wreck, but when you wreck.

    at least gingers have a higher tolerance for pain...that rash doesnt look to bad

    This is true :D

    The rash really isn't that bad. It's the damn hole in my knee that's going to take a while. lol
