Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Is that an option, I didn't read everything? But if it is, yes!

OP do what makes YOU happy. I had a 2005 4x4 SR5 DBLCBLB and I decided to downgrade to a 2011 Reg cab base M/T. Do I regret it? he'll no I don't , for my application, the v6 and Double cab 4x4 was way overkill. I don't off road and I don't hall around a lot of people. I do haul lumber/ furniture, and yard work and I have a long commute to work, so the 4cyl Reg cab m/t made the most sense for me. Different people have different needs / wants in a pickup. Get the truck that makes the most sense to you for your application .
