    Hey guys,
OBD came back with two error codes: p0345 and p0348. Both are for the camshaft position sensor. The engine runs great and I don't notice any problems, but I can't pass emissions.
Anybody ever run across this? Everything I can gather tells me that the sensors are probably not bad and I don't want to replace them unless I have to. Any other thoughts on what I could check?

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
Check all the leads for the sensor. Look for grounds and shorts. Check the wire from the plug on the ECU to the sensor's plug. Do this with a multimeter.
If you find no wiring issues, replace the sensor.
Considering that the sensors control spark timing as well as fuel injection, once there is a hard fault, the engine won't run. It won't know when to fire.

Alright, I replaced both vvt (cam shaft sensors) and now I get p0018
Now the engine is shaking badly when driven over 30 mph. Wire harness looks good. What else could it be?

Possible that when you installed the sensor you did not seated right. Or its not connected correctly.
