Has anyone compared the Eco Boost Specs to the rest of Fords Motor options. The Last I Checked MPG and stuff were right on par with there V8s. I don't understand why they call it an Eco boost motor when there's no Eco savings. all the did was turbo charge a V6 and make it do what a V8 can do and that uses gas like a v8 does. Its a cool motor I just think the Branding is off a little.

Check out some F150 forums. From a MGP comparasion - Eco guys empty are pulling what I pull empty + they get the benefits of a full size.. Price is alittle higher though.

Ford resale is right there with Toyota now.

The EcoBoost is actually averaging lower MPGs in real world driving conditions (per f150forums.) The MPGs drop when towing with the V6, twin turbo, engine. The 5.0L V8 and EcoBoost are very close in comparison. What Ford should do is turbo the 5.0L (single turbo) and drop the 3.5L EcoBoost.

The guys on the forums are saying Ford used two, small, turbos, that are almost maxed out. There is no room for performance improvement in the current setup.
