Just ran across a video of a bunch of dodge power wagons running the poison spider meds trail today on YouTube... guess I can add that to the list of DCLB friendly trails! Hate to think the tacoma can't manage a trail that a 3/4 ton pickup with similar wheelbase can in stock form!

I doubt you could do the crack without lockers, it gets you in a position with wheels on opposite corners touching, and the other two spinning, though it may be different for our longer wheel bases:

Here's a great link to multiple trails in the Moab area.

I'd look at checking out some of the more scenic roads as well. White Rim was mentioned, Gemini Bridges is a great one with a bit of technical thrown in, Onion Creek, the drive to the Porcupine Rim lookout has some off-kilter stuff, but nothing the long bed couldn't do, and the view is amazing:

Someone also mentioned Hell's Revenge. I wouldn't attempt it if I were you. It's rated a 4+, I've done it in a Scrambler with a longer wheelbase, but we also had a 6" lift, 35" tires, Sliders, and front and rear lockers. Edit: Also, most of Poison Spider's tougher obstacles have bypasses, so you should be fine there.

I have seen that.. pretty gnarly! I have no intentions of attempting anything that hairy. I was under the impression there was a bypass and that was an optional obstacle.

I have been through those threads a few times, thanks. Great pictures. Get's me more excited to head down next month! So far I'm thinking Fins N Things, Poison Spider Mesa, Top of the world, and our tour of the white rim trail. That will probably eat up our time in Moab before we start heading back north towards home. That is unless we decide to roll into Moab early. We will be spending a few days in Zion and Bryce on the way over.
