    Hi guys/gals!

Proud owner of a (new to me) 2009 Tacoma Access Cab, V6, Auto, SR5, 4X, 14k miles and Super White. (The dk gray was my first choice but I love white too, decked out in black looks amazing) These are extremely hard to find in my area (Seattle) I got lucky the dealer slashed the price to their invoice amount because they had had it sitting on the lot for over 60 days. I nearly pulled the trigger on a mazdaspeed 3 but did one last search and found my truck.

    Anyway wanted to say "Hi"

I've already removed the side bars, removed the rear headrests and front mudflaps. (Thanks for the awesome write up on the head rest removal, so much more carseat room)

I owned all Dodge 1500 Rams (only other truck style I like anymore) for a few years and then got out of the truck business to buy a new house for my wife and I, 2004ish. Then I drove a ford focus for 7 years .. it was totaled last week and I am very glad to be a truck man again.

Lots of things I want to do but need to wait a couple of months or my wife might just kill me.

    Wish list:
    Black Wheels
    Color matched white grille
    Billet black inset
    Front leveling kit
Daytime runners (anyone know if there was ever a write up to be able to turn them off if/when you don't want them on?)

Previous owner immediately got rid of the Dunlops that came on it and put on Falken high country's? These any good for mainly road but occasional mud/snow/ice?

    Seems like a great community!

    Nice to be here ..

Oh and I hadn't been in a Toyota truck since my dad's 1988 4 banger 4x. That truck would go anywhere but my god it had no power. Grew up loving that truck. White also.

Boy did they change that .. the stock V6 feels like way more power I remember their V6's having.

Also, the Tacoma's seem to be getting so much bigger .. parked next to a F-150 today and I swore it was nearly the same size ..

Ya you got some good tires imo. I think you should get a color matched grill, black out the emblems, Get black rims, bilstein 5100s or other lift, diff drop, tom woods solid drive shaft and your ready to rock!

Welcome from SC. Agree on the Bilsteins. I just had a set put on, you don't need a front leveling kit with them. Wish I had black rims on mine now.
